Since 1989

Dental Crafters has been a full-service dental laboratory and has been servicing the needs of dentists and their patients throughout North America and beyond. In an apprentice-like manner, current owners Robert Slominski and Brad Slominski learned the dental industry from Dental Crafters’ original owner and their father Jac Slominski. Starting from an early age, they have served in a variety of capacities including dental technicians, customer liaisons, sales, supervisors, trainers, and research and development.

Keeping a keen entrepreneurial eye on the industry, in 2006 they recognized the surgical implant guide industry as a niche market they could naturally serve. As a result, Robert and Brad co-founded Implant Solutions, LLC. A company independent of Dental Crafters, Implant Solutions offers a Treatment Proposal Service for doctors wishing to use guided surgery without needing to purchase the software.

In that same entrepreneurial vein, in 2009, Dental Crafters, Inc. launched DC Milling, a division of Dental Crafters. As a laboratory itself, and over the years, Dental Crafters began to observe the growing needs of smaller labs not wishing to invest in additional technology. Because of this, Dental Crafters started to implement ways of becoming a partnering, behind-the-scenes lab to complement the smaller labs. As a result, DC Milling offers its products and services to other laboratories at any point in the restorative process.

Today, Dental Crafters, Inc. continues the tradition of combining an honest day’s work with client service second to none.

Company History

1989 – Dental Crafters is founded by Jac Slominski
2000 – Robert and Brad purchase Dental Crafters from their father, Jac Slominksi
2001 – Dental Crafters builds a new 6,000 square foot facility
2003 – Dental Crafters becomes 3M’s first Authorized Lava Milling Center (ALMC) in the United States
2004 – Due to continued growth, Dental Crafters expands its facility to 12,500 square feet
2006 – Implant Solutions, LLC is formed
2009 – DC Milling, a division of Dental Crafters, is launched
2010 – Dental Crafters serves clients around the world
