The digitized model is brought into a Computer Aided Design (CAD) program. After the design is created, the file is uploaded into a milling machine which mills the restoration, creating a wax pattern. A sprue is applied to the wax pattern, invested and pressed using lithium disilicate. Layered porcelain is brushed on the facial. A final quality check is performed on the lithium disilicate crown where it is glazed. The finished crown is then packaged for delivery.
- Check fit and esthetics. Make adjustments and polish.
- Make sure inside of crown is cleaned after try-in to ensure cement bonds with crown.
- Cement with Resin Modified Glass Ionomer of Self Adhesive Resin Cement.
- Non-retentive or limited clearance preps may require bonding.
