Digital Dentistry, Drinks & Hors d’oeuvres

Join us on August 19th from 6:00 – 9:00p.m. for an evening of digital dentistry, drinks and hors d’ oeuvres. Discover how to create a seamless digital workflow that offers predictable, repeatable results for your practice.

Objectives:

  • Learn how to take a proper intraoral scan to achieve the
    best outcome for your patient. Live patient demonstration
    by Dr. Alex Flora.
  • Understand how to increase patient engagement and
    case acceptance using an iTero® scanner
  • Understand the importance of proper tissue retraction through
    a hands-on die trimming exercise. Bring your loops!
  • Learn how a dental laboratory can turn the digital scan into
    a beautiful prosthetic, saving you time and money.

Participants will receive an email one week prior to the course that includes the information on how to access the virtual seminar.
We’re excited to announce that the Fall DC Academy session are now in-person!  Each participant will receive a certificate of completion and CE credits, when applicable, for attending a virtual academy session.

Dental Crafters Topics®:

  • Shade Taking / Photo Training
    We will cover which shade system you should use, how to take the perfect shade for your patient, and how to set up a camera correctly to take proper pictures by incorporating lighting and color theory principles.
  • Impression Taking and Temporization
    Learn about the “do’s” and “don’ts” of impression taking, material selection, and temporization.
  • Dentures and Bite Registration
    We will go through the four-step denture appointment process, talking about the importance of alameter, papillameter and vertimeter readings, capturing mid-line and high-smile line information, bite registration, and more. In addition, we will discuss anterior tooth setup options (basic, strong and soft). This course includes a hands-on training component. The materials will be sent to attendees in advance of the course.

Note: Due to the hands-on exercises in this course, class size is limited. All classes are held virtually via an online webinar. One week prior to the start of the course, team members will receive an email with directions on how to access the online meeting along with the hands-on materials. For the best team experience, we recommend that the team participates in the seminar together in the same room.

  • CT Surgical Guide Process
    Learn about the treatment planning process, understand how to use a surgical guide and the three steps to taking a good CT scan.

    This program is designed to help your team understand the fundamentals of dental implants. We will review dental implant terminology, crown material choices and screw vs. cement retained prosthetics. This course includes hands-on training with parts and pieces.     course.
